Welcome!

Whether you're a returning garden member or are interested in joining us for the first time, here’s how you can join Patchen Community Square.

(1) Watch this Video (Slightly out of date but still worthwhile!)

(2) Fill out the Membership form.

This membership form will let us know how to best be in touch, what kind of membership you're interested in, which work teams you're most excited to join, and other basic information!

(3) Pay Your Dues (If you can)

Our membership dues are $20 to join as a General Member and $42.50-85 for Plot Holders, but if you cannot afford to pay those dues, just check the “Reduced/Waived Fee'“ box on the membership form and we will work with you directly. The only membership which requires a full fee is our “Compost Only” membership, which is $110 and allows you to bring food scraps to the garden without having to fulfill membership obligations.

Don’t use PayPal? Not a problem! We can take cash payments as well.

(4) engage with us!

We are all volunteers, working together to do the physical and administrative tasks necessary for the upkeep of the garden. All garden members, unless exempted due to age or disability, are required to contribute at least 10 hours per season toward this effort. After your first two engagements (attending a work day or garden meeting, or volunteering with your team) of the season have been completed, you will be given a key to the garden.
