2018 Halloween Tour
This year the garden will be participating in the 2018 Stuyvesant Heights Halloween Tour as the Petrified Park on October 31st
If you are interested in being listed on the map here's what you should know/do:
The Stuyvesant Heights Parents Association is seeking houses for the 15th Annual Haunted House Crawl to be held on Wednesday, October 31st. The gathering begins in multiple locations in Bed-Stuy (including Fulton Park) at 4pm with maps given out (and available for download) at 5 pm. This year we will have three additional amazing locations where maps will be distributed and Halloween festivities will take place: “The Haunted Garden” on Hancock St. between Marcus Garvey and Throop, “The Frightful Photos and Thriller Dancemob” on MacDonough St. and Stuyvesant Avenue, and the Petrified Park at Putnam and Patchen Avenues.
1To join the map a block must have 5 or more participating houses. We encourage you to do your own recruiting but we will also group homes based on the interest we receive.
We would love for each block to have a unique theme. As an example, MacDonough Street (Lewis and Marcus Garvey) has chosen in the past The Nightmare on MacDonough Street.
A representative from each block must pick up balloons and signs at the statue at Fulton Park from 2:00 PM - 3:00 pm on 10/31. These decorative items must be distributed to the participating houses on the block. Every house should have one balloon to designate them to trick or treaters.

We are compiling the houses to create the map and need this information in this format. The information must be completed in full. THIS LINK WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE AFTER OCTOBER 20TH.
Homeowners should be prepared to see up to 400 trick-or-treaters between the hours of 5:00 and 7:00 pm on October 31st.
WE MUST RECEIVE YOUR COMPLETED BLOCK INFORMATION BY SATURDAY, OCTOBER 20TH AT THE LATEST.
We will do our best to include all of the blocks that submit their application to join the map. If you are unable recruit others on your block or we are otherwise unable to include your block on the map and you still want to participate please email: shparentsassociation@gmail.com to volunteer. We'll need a lot of help, including passing out maps, manning the map distribution stations and decorating. And extra candy on the day of is always needed at the homes closer to our starting point.
