April Weekend Work Extravaganza
first herb bed!
On Saturday, April 13th and Sunday the 14th we will be having two workdays from 9am to 4pm both days! As well as a meeting at 4pm on Saturday to re-connect and discuss what's in store for Patchen Community Square this year. Make sure to bring gloves and comfortable clothes, invite friends or family as they are more than welcome too.
It's barely Spring, and we've already made a lot of progress in the space! We've created our first herb bed; received a donation of wood chip to create a protective barrier and level the lot; and are working on preparing holes for an orchard to be planted in the fall. The shed is still in progress as well. We will also be getting a load of compost from the city in the near future.
