Lot Cleaning and a Shed!
Clearing the Lot
Last Saturday, we had a great turnout and made a HUGE dent in getting the lot cleaned out. There were bags and bags of garbage! We've also discussed building a small shed in the far back corner to store tools and will be meeting on Thursday at 7:30 to discuss this budget. We are planning to be in the lot and finishing weeds, moving rocks, leveling on Saturdays at 9am.
Henry Butler (CB3 Chairman) also stopped by and recommended we go to the next Community Board meeting on Sept 10 and make an announcement asking for volunteers within the community.
596 Acres has put us in contact with someone who is donating a water catchment system and 200 gallon barrel. So we will be planning our shed to include a gutter.
